Work is underway on our brand-new NETA Training centre in
Thornaby and it’s going to be better than ever!

Due to open in 2026, our purpose-built training centre combines NETA Training’s proud industrial heritage with modern, industry-standard facilities. Featuring specialist workshops for welding, electrical, mechanical and pipefitting the centre is equipped with the latest technology alongside traditional heavy-duty machinery.

Throughout the building, you’ll find representation from many of the leading employers we work alongside, reflecting our strong industry partnerships and ensuring our learning environment remains closely connected to the workplace. Combined with our state-of-the-art facilities, this gives students the practical skills, knowledge and industry insight needed for a successful career in engineering.
